Their busiest schedule is from Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 3 PM, so it would be best to call outside these hours. For information in English on Paid Family Leave, call 1-877-BE-THERE. If you are a California State Government employee and you are not covered by SDI, you can call 1-866-758-9768 for information on the Non-industrial Disability Insurance program.

In Hawaii, the Temporary Disability Insurance (TDI) is administered by the Disability Compensation Division. It is mandated that an employer should provide readily accessible printed statement on employee’s benefit rights, claims for benefits, and other matters related to the administration of the workers' compensation law. In New York, the Disability Benefits or Insurance is administered by the Workers' Compensation Board who process employee’s claims for benefits and receives injury reports from employer and medical reports from health care provider. In Rhode Island, the Temporary Disability Insurance (TDI) is administered by the Department of Labor and Training. For inquiries on application, benefits, and claims application, call (401) 462-8420. You can speak to a customer service representative if you call between 8 AM and 3:50 PM Monday- Thursday and between 9 AM and 3:50 PM on Friday. Entire claim and personal identification (PIN) numbers are required when you call.
